'The possibility of our children is our responsibility'

Every child born is a message of love from God
telling that God is still not fed up with humanity...

Like Jesus, every child should grow 'both in body and in wisdom, gaining favour with God and men.' Lk 2:52

Year of Education...

In view of the Platinum Jubilee of our Archdiocese, the previous five years are highlighted with different ministries. The year 2010 was declared as the Year of Education. Though much could not be done, we are planning this year end programme in such a way to launch a new beginning in education to empower our people in the context of the "Right to Education Act 2009," and the opening of India education scenario to foreign universities and its global impact.

The Celebration started on 16th May with a Street Play: "Why, Why and Why?" going to the width and breadth of the diocese elucidating the need for education for the community empowerment. It was followed by an "Education Torch" carried in a relay from village to village announcing the commencement of the celebration.

  1. Dear Blogger,
Do u think it is right to appreciate schools and students who "harvested better results and students who got all A+ in the SSLC and +2 exams"?????? This encourages Principals, HMs and teachers to resort to malpractice so as to bag the first place.I am telling u this from my own personal experience. This has been happening all over kerala for many years.

And now, plz remember that A+ is not a great thing in the state stream. A good percentage of students who secure A+ for English or Second Language or any other subject will stand no where close to their counterparts who have completed the ISC stream with a second class!!!! A+ is just hype that people give unnecessarily to the state stream students.
